Technical Sales Manager – Colombia (Telematics & IoT)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead the growth of our telematics and IoT solutions across Colombia. The role is remote, full‑time, and involves frequent field visits and business trips throughout the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the client base for telematics and IoT products in Colombia.
• Conduct product presentations, technical installations, and equipment commissioning.
• Identify and attract new system integrators.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers, providing support, issue resolution, and payment follow‑up.
• Promote the Escort brand at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and seminars.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Upper‑Intermediate English (B2) or higher; all communication with headquarters is in English.
• Currently residing in Colombia.
• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in telematics, transportation, IT, IoT, GPS monitoring, or automotive sectors.
• Experience with technically complex equipment and ability to perform installations after training.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous, and result‑oriented.
• Technical college or university degree.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 % of working time across Colombia.
