Trainer Specialist – Corporate Learning & Development

About the role

The Trainer Specialist designs, delivers and monitors comprehensive training programs for the client’s operations and AI‑powered workflow automation solutions. This independent contractor role bridges operational needs with internal team development, ensuring standards across dealer/manufacturer integrations, SOP compliance, and the Strata software platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead live training sessions, workshops and virtual onboarding modules for new hires and existing staff.
• Create SOPs, training manuals, system guides and assessment frameworks from SME insights and complex commercial furniture workflows.
• Interview department leaders and subject‑matter experts to capture and validate updated processes.
• Track training completion rates, assessment scores and time‑to‑productivity, providing reports and actionable insights to leadership.
• Audit and update training materials to align with operational changes, system updates and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design, training facilitation or corporate learning and development.
• Experience in the procurement or furniture industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop SOPs, onboarding decks and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using learning management system (LMS) platforms and related tracking tools.
