Training Specialist and Instructor

About the role

The Training Specialist and Instructor will design, deliver, and evaluate aviation training programs for Colombian personnel. This position requires a deep understanding of aircraft technical publications and compliance with local and international aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve training curricula and e‑learning modules for aviation staff.
• Conduct classroom and computer‑based instruction, assess trainee performance, and produce effectiveness appraisals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Colombian Aeronautica Civil, U.S. FAA, and U.S. military aviation regulations.

Required profile

• Colombian national with an associate degree in an aviation‑related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of aviation training experience in the military or commercial sector.
• At least five (5) years of experience as an instructor and in developing training courses.
• Possession of a valid Colombian instructor IET license.

Required skills

• E‑Learning and computer‑based training system development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• In‑depth knowledge of aircraft technical publications.
