VDC Specialist – BIM Coordination & 4D Modeling

About the role

The VDC Specialist will lead BIM coordination across all trades, establishing BIM standards, workflows, and requirements. Working closely with the on‑site construction team, you will anticipate conflicts, propose technical solutions, and keep the coordination process ahead of schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Generate the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and maintain it throughout the project.
• Set agendas and host BIM coordination meetings with subcontractors, clients, and design teams.
• Combine subcontractor models in Navisworks, perform clash detection, and create viewpoint reports.
• Ensure subcontractors implement required modifications to achieve a clash‑free model.
• Control the coordination schedule, flagging any deviations.
• Provide information for RFIs and review RFI responses, addenda, ASIs, and bulletins to keep models up‑to‑date.
• Conduct model audits, generate federated models (NWD), issue logs, and sign‑off documents.
• Create 4D simulations using Navisworks or Synchro when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Advanced level of English with strong communication skills for meetings.
• Intermediate knowledge of MEP and FP systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit and Navisworks.
