Visual Design Lead

About the role

Huge is seeking a Visual Design Lead to define and drive visual design direction across complex digital products and experiences. The role involves guiding design vision from concept through execution while ensuring high visual quality, consistency, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead visual design direction across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
• Mentor and provide creative direction to visual designers throughout the design process.
• Build, evolve, and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Translate product and platform goals into cohesive, high‑quality visual experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Ensure consistency, accessibility, usability, and quality throughout the experience.
• Communicate design decisions, articulate trade‑offs, and provide clear rationale to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of experience designing digital products across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring visual design teams and establishing design standards.
• Strong systems thinking with ability to balance detailed UI execution and broader product ecosystems.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
