Warehouse and Distribution Coordinator

About the role

General Motors is hiring a Warehouse and Distribution Coordinator for its spare parts distribution centre in Bogota. The position is onsite, with a schedule of 8:00 to 17:00, and covers the reception, custody and dispatch of parts and accessories for the Chevrolet, GMICA and AC Delco dealer network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and ensure the receipt, custody and dispatch of parts and accessories for the Chevrolet, GMICA and AC Delco dealer network, meeting time and quality standards.
• Lead the 3PL team, developing them and ensuring safe working conditions at the spare parts distribution centre while maintaining productivity and service levels.
• Supervise people and technical resources at the distribution centre and run operations so that productivity, service levels, accident prevention, waste control and costs meet management targets.

Required profile

• Industrial engineer, mechanic or similar background.
• More than 2 years of experience in the automotive or after-sales sector.
• Intermediate-high English; Portuguese knowledge is valued.
• Right-handed and comfortable using office tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, Power BI, Access, AI and SAP.
• Desirable: experience with 3PL operational processes.
