Warehouse Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant will support the smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility. You will be responsible for preparing shipments, receiving deliveries, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring a positive experience for internal clients.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping and shipping merchandise.
• Receive, unpack, verify and record incoming merchandise or material.
• Arrange transportation of products as needed.
• Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports and similar documents using standard office software.
• Maintain files and records, perform basic data entry and verification tasks.
• Organise daily work schedule in line with changing priorities.

Required profile

• Secondary / Intermediate education (minimum 5 GCSE).
• Basic experience with simple office or operational systems.
• Ability to use standard office equipment and software with guidance.
• Clear verbal communication skills and courteous interaction with internal clients.
• Capability to analyse data trends and perform basic mathematical operations under supervision.
• Elementary level planning, organising and prioritising skills to meet business objectives.
