Web Developer & SEO Specialist for Law Firm

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web Developer & SEO Specialist to own and launch a new website for a law firm. You will translate approved design mockups into a fast, responsive site and continuously improve its search visibility and conversion performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build a fully responsive website from design mockups, managing the project end‑to‑end.
• Create and maintain practice‑area, location, and blog pages within the CMS.
• Optimize UX, page speed, accessibility, security, and bug‑free operation.
• Implement site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, XML sitemaps, redirects, and Core Web Vitals.
• Add structured data and legal schema (LegalService, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Conduct high‑intent keyword research focused on case‑driving terms and NYC locations.
• Collaborate on on‑page content to meet E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Manage Google Business Profile, local citations, and location pages for local map‑pack visibility.
• Support link‑building and digital‑PR initiatives.
• Run CRO experiments on intake forms, click‑to‑call, and live chat.
• Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking, and rank tracking to shape growth road‑maps.

Required profile

• 3+ years at the intersection of web design/build and SEO (agency or in‑house).
• Proven ability to launch fast, conversion‑focused sites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong track record with technical, on‑page, and local SEO strategies.
• Highly organized, able to meet strict launch deadlines independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in legal or competitive local‑service marketing is a plus.
