Weekend Dispatcher – Logistics Operations

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a Weekend Dispatcher to monitor shipments, communicate with customers and drivers, and resolve operational exceptions during weekend hours. The role ensures real‑time visibility of shipments and maintains high levels of customer service across the weekend schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Track and monitor active shipments throughout the afternoon, providing real‑time updates.
• Communicate shipment status, delivery schedules, and issues to customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Update customer portals and internal systems with accurate shipment information.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments to meet customer requirements.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve service disruptions, delays, and other operational exceptions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sales or account management experience in transportation and logistics (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of land transportation and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with strong negotiation abilities.
