INDI, a recruiter connecting companies with top talent, is hiring a WordPress Developer for remote work. The role turns WordPress from a blogging tool into a robust enterprise CMS, delivering custom themes, plugins and integrations that scale and perform well for complex business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch using PHP.
• Implement and customize WooCommerce to build scalable e-commerce solutions.
• Create rich, interactive content layouts using the Gutenberg block editor.
• Integrate WordPress with third-party APIs and enterprise systems to extend core functionality.
• Optimize website performance, security and SEO across all development stages.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing WordPress installations to ensure uptime and reliability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development or web engineering.
• Proven ability to build custom themes and plugins from scratch.
• Deep understanding of extending WordPress for enterprise applications.
• Advanced level of English.

Required skills

• PHP and custom Gutenberg block development.
• WooCommerce implementation.
