Writer – Sustainability & Corporate Communications

About the role

ESENTTIA is seeking a full‑time Writer to join its Cartagena office. You will craft clear, engaging content that supports the company’s sustainability initiatives, corporate communications, and brand messaging across both internal and external channels.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and edit articles, reports, social media posts, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to translate complex sustainability concepts into accessible language.
• Ensure all content aligns with ESENTTIA’s tone of voice and strategic objectives.
• Contribute ideas for new storytelling formats and content approaches that highlight the company’s impact and values.

Required profile

• Strong writing and editing abilities with experience producing structured content for diverse audiences.
• Proven research skills on sustainability, corporate responsibility, and industry trends.
• Excellent command of written English (en_US); Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Cartagena.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Languages, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Interest in sustainability and motivation to support ESENTTIA’s transformation mission.
