Accounting Manager – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead outsourced accounting operations for multiple U.S.-based clients. The role is fully remote, preferably based in Latin America, and will focus on transactional accounting, payroll, reporting, and month‑end close.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for several client accounts in an outsourced environment.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Process payroll and support employee onboarding through payroll platforms.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bill payment, and other transactional workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and workpapers in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop or Enterprise.
• Prepare and support U.S. sales‑tax filings, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
• Build and maintain Excel‑based financial reports, dashboards, budgeting models, and forecasting tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in an outsourced bookkeeping or client‑services setting.
• Proven ability to handle multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
• Fluent English communication skills for interaction with U.S. stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH, and data analysis.
• Experience with payroll processing and AP/AR workflows.
• Knowledge of U.S. sales‑tax filing and compliance.
