Communications Consultant – Rural Transition Project (Colombia)

About the role

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is seeking a Communications Consultant to support two rural transition projects in Colombia – CO038‑E1 Just Rural Transition and CO048‑E1 Antioquia BioCompetitiva. The consultant will work on a deliverable‑based contract from June 2026 to March 2027, based in Medellín.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication outputs for the CO038‑E1 and CO048‑E1 projects as defined in the contract.
• Collaborate with GGGI project teams, national ministries and local partners to ensure alignment of communication materials with project objectives.
• Manage the budgeted fees (up to USD 11,000) and submit deliverables within the agreed timeline.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications consulting, preferably in green growth or rural development contexts.
• Ability to work independently on a deliverable‑based assignment.
• Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are an advantage.
