Employee Relations Specialist (1-year contract)

About the role

The Employee Relations Specialist will manage the intake, triage, and resolution of employee relations cases for a one‑year fixed‑term assignment. Working closely with People partners and cross‑functional teams, the specialist ensures cases are accurately recorded, assigned, and investigated in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review, and assess all incoming employee relations cases across the designated region.
• Document case details in the ER tracker system, maintaining data integrity and completeness.
• Assign cases using the predefined assignment matrix and escalate high‑risk or out‑of‑scope matters.
• Conduct end‑to‑end investigations for discipline cases of low to moderate complexity, including interviews, evidence gathering, and analysis.
• Prepare clear case documentation, findings, and recommended actions.
• Generate and monitor reports on case volume, aging, and SLA compliance.
• Track and follow up on action items arising from case recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience handling employee relations or HR investigations of low to moderate complexity.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, disciplinary processes, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with People managers and other stakeholders.
