Financial Leader – 100% Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Leader to shape and execute our economic strategy across Colombia and the United States. Working remotely, you will turn accounting data into actionable business intelligence that supports decisions at the CEO level.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, monthly variance analysis, and tactical adjustments.
• Produce monthly financial forecasts integrated with S&OP.
• Manage cash‑flow projections to ensure liquidity for all business units.
• Analyze profitability of e‑commerce channels (Shopify, Amazon, distributors) and evaluate margins, discounts, and ROI of new projects.
• Provide pricing analysis and financial insights to strengthen commercial negotiations.
• Oversee financial statement preparation under IFRS (Colombia) and US GAAP (USA) and ensure tax compliance with DIAN and the IRS.
• Control operating expenses, monitor accounts receivable, and improve collection cycles.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards reporting sales, targets, and profitability indicators.
• Lead the accounting team, approve month‑end closings, and mentor staff on IFRS/US GAAP matters.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Public Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Post‑graduate specialization in International Finance, IFRS, Tax Management, or Cost Accounting is desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and international regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑currency operations and cross‑border tax matters.
