Senior Accountant

About the role

ABA Tech is expanding its finance team in Medellín and seeks a Senior Accountant who excels in reconciliation, reporting, and system‑driven environments. This full‑time, hybrid role offers the chance to own critical accounting processes and collaborate with IT and finance partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure general‑ledger accuracy.
• Perform profit & loss reviews and variance analysis.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and financial schedules.
• Work with NetSuite and Coupa to maintain data consistency.
• Troubleshoot system and integration issues alongside IT/Finance teams.
• Assist with audits and continuously improve accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in general‑ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and close processes.
• Fluent English (B2+ level) or higher.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with NetSuite (required).
• Proficiency in Coupa.
• Advanced Excel skills.
