Senior Maternal, Newborn & Child Health Technical Officer

About the role

The Senior MNCH Technical Officer will support FHI 360’s EpiC project in Colombia, focusing on maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) and nutrition interventions across three priority departments. Reporting to the MNCH Technical Advisor, the officer will provide technical guidance, ensure quality implementation, and contribute to knowledge products.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement MNCH and nutrition activities in assigned territories (Choco, La Guajira, Antioquia).
• Represent the project with territorial health entities and service providers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support project design, implementation, and quality assurance for interventions such as ANC, EmONC, iCCM, and acute malnutrition treatment.
• Monitor progress, evaluate program effectiveness, and produce technical assessment reports.
• Develop and manage reports, presentations, work plans, and policy briefs.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in maternal, newborn, and child health or nutrition programs.
• Proven ability to work with government health agencies and local partners.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
