Senior Procurement Specialist – Supply Chain

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing activities that support manufacturing, field operations, and project management within the energy sector. The role focuses on delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality goods and services while ensuring compliance with Category Management policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute sourcing strategies for goods and services across multiple business units.
• Create and manage RFQs, RFPs, and competitive bidding processes to secure optimal price, quality, and delivery.
• Implement local procurement agreements not covered by existing Category Management frameworks.
• Assess supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee complex operations or high‑value expenditures and mentor less‑experienced procurement specialists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing operations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management capabilities.
• Experience in supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Oil & Gas industry exposure or relevant supply‑chain certifications is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced procurement certification (preferred).
