Sourcing and Purchasing Specialist

About the role

eJam is looking for a detail‑oriented Sourcing and Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement of goods and services from North and South American suppliers. This fully remote position works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure cost‑effective, on‑time delivery of products that meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily with vendors to confirm purchase orders, monitor production schedules, and resolve shipment issues.
• Analyze inventory levels and demand planning data to trigger timely reorders and maintain optimal stock across channels.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.
• Create, review, and submit purchase orders through the company’s procurement system with accurate specifications.
• Track shipments, flag delays, and coordinate proactive resolutions.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams to align procurement with product launches.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Strong vendor‑management experience with a focus on cost optimization.
• Excellent analytical skills for inventory and demand planning.
• Proven ability to negotiate and influence suppliers.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and report to the Director of Supply Chain.
• Availability to work during U.S. time zones.
