A2R DS Analyst - Global Services Finance Accounting

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring an A2R DS Analyst for its Global Services Finance team in Bogotá, Colombia. The role sits in the GS Finance Accounting process area, which provides cost-effective financial services and compliance to the company's operating companies worldwide. The accounting team ensures complete and accurate accounting of all transactions, including sales and purchase orders, reconciliations and balance sheet checks.

Key responsibilities

• Follow applicable laws, regulations and J&J guidelines, and identify compliance risks and recommend solutions
• Manage accounting processes for high-complexity MRCs, ensuring accurate calculations, reporting, reconciliations and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Deliver timely period closing according to the closing calendar and SLAs, respecting compliance, internal audit and SOX requirements
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations to minimize open items and support new team members and BPO partners with on-the-job training
• Support global strategy and solutions, and act as a trusted business partner to Subject Matter Experts and Operational Key Contacts
• Drive continuous improvement and process efficiency in line with global standards

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Experience in Account to Report or General Accounting, and in a Shared Service or BPO organization
• Advanced English, with effective written and oral communication
• Openness to flexible shifts aligned with global or regional responsibilities (Americas / EMEA / Asia)

Required skills

• Accounting principles and financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow)
• SAP experience
• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and digital/intelligent automation
• Preferred: GAAP, financial analysis, budgeting, controls compliance and financial risk management
