Head of Accounting & Administration, LATAM

About the role

Native is hiring a Head of Accounting & Administration for Latin America, as it scales across multiple legal entities and currencies. This is a senior, hands-on role based in Bogotá, Colombia, owning the integrity of the regional books and running the function as a system that produces reliable, audit-ready output.

Key responsibilities

• Own accounting operations across Latin America entities (payroll, revenue, payables, receivables, general ledger) and lead the monthly and annual close with accuracy and speed.
• Ensure timely, accurate IFRS reporting under Colombian, Mexican and Peruvian standards, and maintain a consistent chart of accounts.
• Own fiscal and statutory compliance and tax filings, coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors, and support transfer pricing and intercompany accounting with the Corporate Controller.
• Design and maintain internal controls, policies and procedures, and document decisions so the team does not depend on any single person.
• Improve the ERP and accounting systems, automate manual workflows and adopt AI tools to shorten the close cycle.
• Build and mentor a distributed accounting team and collaborate with FP&A, Legal and People.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 10+ years in accounting operations, ideally in technology or venture-backed companies with multinational exposure across Latin America.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Deep expertise in IFRS and the local accounting and tax rules of Colombia (DIAN), with working knowledge of Mexico (SAT) and Peru (SUNAT).
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and cross-border tax and compliance.
• Ability to work in high-growth, tech-driven environments.
