Experience Coordinator – Colombia & Virtual

About the role

As an Experience Coordinator you will shape the internship experience for participants in Medellín and for our virtual program. You will design and lead cultural, professional and social activities, provide day‑to‑day support, and create a vibrant community that connects interns with the city and each other.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and host cultural, professional and social events for interns in Medellín.
• Coordinate online events, manage WhatsApp groups and facilitate networking for virtual interns.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for intern support, handling questions, feedback and issue resolution.
• Maintain an event calendar, oversee onboarding and pre‑internship experience, and manage inbox communications.
• Assist the lead coordinator with administrative and logistical tasks and produce engaging multimedia content for the community.

Required profile

• Passionate about building community and fostering cross‑cultural exchange.
• Hands‑on event coordinator with experience organizing both in‑person and virtual activities.
• Adaptable, proactive and able to respond quickly in a multicultural environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, positive, and skilled at making people feel welcomed and connected.
• Strong problem‑solving and complaint‑resolution abilities with a customer‑service mindset.
• Organized, able to manage multiple tasks and ensure smooth program operations.
• Creative content creator capable of producing engaging multimedia for the intern community.
