IT Engineer

About the role

The IT Engineer will ensure smooth operation of the IT department, supporting Latin America employees and maintaining the company’s technology platforms. This role combines hands‑on technical support with strategic oversight of systems, networks, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT support, troubleshooting, and training for LATAM staff.
• Install and configure hardware and software (laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, SIP phones, printers, network cards, etc.).
• Manage asset records and track equipment.
• Evaluate user IT requests and recommend optimal solutions.
• Set up and troubleshoot Cisco, SonicWall, and Palo Alto network devices.
• Perform network cabling for office environments.
• Conduct daily maintenance of servers, network equipment, VPN, and phone systems.
• Update internal website content (user manuals, event posts, address book).
• Monitor network security and protect against threats.
• Lead monthly IT meetings with headquarters and enforce IT protocols across departments.
• Maintain system performance, backups, licenses, and upgrade schedules.
• Oversee projects from conception to completion and document system standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Preferred certifications: MCSE, MCSA, CCNA.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.
