Mid-Level SEO & AEO Specialist

About the role

NeoWork is recruiting a Mid-Level SEO & AEO Specialist on behalf of a growth‑focused web design and development agency. The role supports B2B software clients by delivering end‑to‑end technical SEO and Answer Engine Optimization strategies that boost organic visibility, SERP rankings, and AI‑driven discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits using tools such as Screaming Frog, covering crawl analysis, indexation health, site architecture, and redirect mapping.
• Identify and remediate Core Web Vitals issues (LCP, INP, CLS) and overall page‑speed performance.
• Resolve crawl‑budget inefficiencies, duplicate content, canonical conflicts, and hreflang errors.
• Evaluate internal linking structures and recommend improvements to enhance crawl paths and page authority.
• Collaborate with client development and engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of SEO recommendations.
• Write, validate, and implement structured data/schema markup (FAQ, HowTo, Organization, BreadcrumbList, Article, Product, SoftwareApplication).
• Develop and execute AEO strategies for AI‑powered search surfaces (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
• Monitor AEO performance using platforms such as Gumshoe.ai, Profound.com, or GrowthX.
• Perform keyword research, competitive SERP analysis, and content‑gap assessments aligned with client business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technical SEO for B2B software or digital‑marketing clients.
• Ability to communicate strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders (Directors, VPs, Founders, C‑suite).
• Hands‑on, expert‑level practitioner comfortable managing the full SEO lifecycle.
