Planner - Market & Brand Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a Planner – Market & Brand Strategist to lead market analysis and brand strategy development for the Guatemala market, with the possibility to expand to other Central American countries. This is a full‑time, 100 % remote contractor role focused on turning insights into actionable product roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market and consumer research, monitor trends, competitor activity and consumer preferences in Guatemala and the broader Central American region.
• Develop and align brand strategies with business objectives, ensuring a seamless connection between brand goals and market needs.
• Create short‑, medium‑ and long‑term actionable plans that translate strategic objectives into measurable actions.
• Define and maintain the product roadmap, incorporating market demand and growth opportunities.
• Leverage data to generate insights and turn them into concrete, data‑driven initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Planner or Strategist focused on market and brand strategy.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior and industry trends.
• Ability to design comprehensive brand strategies that meet market requirements.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret data and produce actionable recommendations.
• Experience structuring plans for short, medium and long‑term objectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
