Salesforce Technical Architect, AI and Agentforce

About the role

As a Technical Architect for AI & Agentforce, you will design and deliver Agentforce‑powered solutions that create measurable business value for clients. You will lead end‑to‑end technical design across Agentforce, Data 360, and the broader Salesforce platform, collaborating with customers and delivery teams from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the complete technical solution design, including agent topics, instructions, actions, automation/code, deployment methods and supporting data structures.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, solution architects, developers and designers to translate business needs into well‑architected solutions.
• Oversee all project lifecycle stages—from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Design scalable, secure data architectures on Salesforce Data 360, defining DLOs, DMOs, identity resolution and real‑time activation patterns.
• Establish best practices for ingesting data into Salesforce and Data 360 at scale for agentic solutions.
• Define integration patterns between Salesforce and third‑party systems via REST APIs.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring and setting standards for Apex, LWC and Agentforce development.
• Define testing and evaluation approaches for agents, including guardrails and Einstein Trust Layer considerations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of application and software development experience.
• 4+ years of Salesforce development or technical architecture experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel up to 25% for projects.

Required skills

• Apex and JavaScript proficiency.
• Experience with modern languages such as Python, Java, C#.
• Salesforce technologies: Flows, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce.
• Design and build Agentforce agents, workflows and automations.
• Salesforce Data 360 solution design.
• REST API integration between Salesforce and third‑party systems.
• Front‑end web development (HTML/CSS).
• Source control, branching/pull‑request strategies.
• CI/CD and DevOps principles.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, Amazon Connect, and Claude Code.
