Auth0 Engineer - Remote Work

About the role

As an Auth0 Engineer at BairesDev, you will design and implement robust identity and access management systems, ensuring secure and seamless user authentication across diverse applications.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain enterprise‑grade identity solutions using Auth0, Okta, or Cognito to support scalable user growth.
• Implement advanced authentication flows, single sign‑on (SSO) strategies, and fine‑grained authorization models (RBAC, ReBAC) inspired by Zanzibar frameworks.
• Configure and manage identity lifecycles with JWT, SAML, and OAuth2 standards for high‑performance applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate secure federation and identity workflows into the development lifecycle.
• Define best practices for token management, session handling, and overall system security and performance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, Security Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise implementing and managing identity systems with Auth0, Okta, or Cognito.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Core identity protocols: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT.
• Design of secure identity workflows, multi‑tenant patterns, and RBAC/ReBAC models.
• Knowledge of Zanzibar‑inspired architectures such as SpiceDB or OpenFGA.
