Quality Engineer

About the role

Digitas Health is seeking a Quality Engineer with solid test‑automation experience to strengthen its QA processes. You will partner with development, product, and operations teams to ensure reliable, high‑quality software delivery for health‑focused digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and prioritize manual and automated test cases to maximize coverage and efficiency.
• Create and maintain test plans, automation suites, and QA artifacts such as test data and runbooks.
• Estimate effort, report status with metrics, and highlight risks or critical defects.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify quality risks, perform root‑cause analysis on recurring failures, and propose preventive actions.
• Collaborate with agile teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability from story inception.
• Participate in design and requirements reviews, mentor junior QA engineers, and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Required profile

• Degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of QA experience focused on test automation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and assertive communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Scripting languages: JavaScript, Java, Python.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• Test‑management tools: Zephyr, Xray, TestRail, Spira.
