Security Analyst

About the role

The Information Security team at Veho is looking for a motivated Security Analyst to help protect our enterprise network, applications and data. You will work independently under general supervision, applying analytical skills to detect, assess and mitigate security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze network traffic, intrusion attempts, logs and alerts to identify trends, anomalies and potential breaches.
• Perform initial triage, classify security events by type and severity.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate penetration tests, document findings and recommend mitigation.
• Execute basic incident‑response steps (containment, eradication, recovery) following established playbooks.
• Support ISO 27001 certification and other compliance initiatives by providing required artifacts.
• Assist with risk assessments and embed risk‑management practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Review vulnerability disclosures, validate issues and drive remediation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging threats and attack vectors.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in information security or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Log analysis and familiarity with SIEM platforms.
• Networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, IPSEC, HTTP/HTTPS, routing protocols.
• Incident‑response procedures and common attack patterns.
• Web application security, secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10.
• Threat modeling and attack‑graph techniques.
• GitHub operations (cloning, branching, merging, pull requests, issues).
• Version control, testing, patching and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
• Endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools and vulnerability scanners.
• Security frameworks such as ISO 27001.
