Senior Category Manager Travel Americas

About the role

DHL Group is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead the Travel category across the Americas region. You will shape and execute local and sub‑regional travel procurement strategies, ensuring a seamless business travel experience for DHL travelers while delivering cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Refine and implement travel category strategies for the Americas.
• Conduct sourcing tenders and lead complex negotiations with regional, national and international travel suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with key travel providers, hotels and related service vendors.
• Develop and align a regional travel category strategy based on market intelligence and business partner direction.
• Identify opportunities to improve the travel program and increase compliance with travel policies.
• Provide market analysis, vendor trend insights and compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with corporate sourcing, country procurement teams and business partners to optimise spend.
• Drive regional standardisation in line with corporate standards and support stakeholders.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in procurement, category management or travel services.
• Proven ability to lead sourcing events and negotiate with global suppliers.
• Strong understanding of business travel market dynamics.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams across multiple countries.
