SEO Content Specialist – Local SEO (Remote)

About the role

Mettano is seeking an SEO Content Specialist to lead local‑SEO content creation for home‑service clients. You will craft service pages, location pages, and blog posts that rank well in search engines and drive conversions, working remotely with a minimum of five hours of daily overlap with EST.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit high‑quality blog posts, service pages, and location pages tailored to home‑service businesses.
• Apply on‑page SEO best practices, including internal linking, URL structure, heading hierarchy, meta descriptions, and keyword placement.
• Audit and improve existing client content, identifying gaps and enhancing overall quality.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to align content priorities, timelines, and feedback.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding content strategy and performance.

Required profile

• Fluent English with excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Proven experience in SEO, on‑page optimization, and content creation for local businesses.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
