Supply Chain Network Modeler

About the role

The Supply Chain Network Modeler will design, maintain, and apply end‑to‑end network models that turn complex supply‑chain data into actionable insights. Working under the Supply Chain Modeling & Optimization Director, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support strategic and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance network models covering facilities, flows, transportation, capacity, inventory, and service performance.
• Translate business problems into scenario‑based analyses evaluating cost‑to‑serve, service levels, capacity constraints, and investment alternatives.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to scope opportunities, gather and validate inputs, and align assumptions.
• Interpret and communicate results through interactive dashboards, visualizations, and structured storytelling for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Document modeling assumptions, methodologies, data sources, and limitations to ensure transparency and repeatability.
• Maintain and improve data models and datasets supporting network analytics.
• Contribute to best‑practice templates, training materials, and the growth of internal “citizen modelers.”
• Stay current with emerging trends in network modeling, optimization, simulation, and advanced analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in supply‑chain analytics, network modeling, optimization, or related quantitative roles.
• Proven ability to apply analytical techniques to business problems and translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in the supply‑chain or distribution‑network industry is strongly preferred.
