A2R DS Analyst - Global Services Finance Accounting

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring an A2R DS Analyst for its Global Services Finance team in Bogotá, Colombia. The role sits in the GS Finance Accounting process area, which provides cost-effective financial services and compliance to the company's operating companies worldwide. The accounting team handles the complete and accurate accounting of all transactions, including sales and purchase orders, reconciliations, ageing monitoring and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Follow applicable laws and regulations and J&J guidelines, and identify compliance risks and recommend solutions
• Manage accounting processes for high-complexity MRCs, ensuring accurate calculations, reporting, reconciliations and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Ensure timely period closing according to the calendar and SLAs, in line with compliance, internal audit and SOX requirements
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations to minimise open items and support new team members and BPO partners with on-the-job training
• Support global strategy and solutions, and act as a trusted business partner to Subject Matter Experts and Operational Key Contacts
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process efficiency, aligned with global standards

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Experience in a Shared Service or BPO organisation
• Openness to flexible shifts to cover global or regional responsibilities (Americas / EMEA / Asia)

Required skills

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Knowledge of SAP and experience in continuous improvement initiatives
• Digitalisation mindset and interest in intelligent automation
• Advanced English, both written and spoken
