A2R DS Junior Analyst - Accounting

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Junior Analyst (A2R DS) for its Global Services Finance team in Bogotá, Colombia. The role sits in the GS Finance Accounting process area, which provides financial services and compliance to the company's operating companies worldwide. It covers the complete and accurate accounting of transactions, including sales and purchase orders, reconciliations and balance sheet checks.

Key responsibilities

• Follow applicable laws and regulations and J&J guidelines, and maintain operational excellence in the accounting process for simple and medium-complexity MRCs.
• Carry out timely period closing according to the closing calendar and SLA commitments, respecting compliance, internal audit and SOX requirements, and ensure the accuracy of reported actuals.
• Keep balance sheet reconciliations up to date to minimise open items and support auditors and legal authorities.
• Act as a trusted business partner to process SMEs and OKCs, ensuring cross-process alignment.
• Generate and implement continuous improvement ideas and process improvements aligned with global standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience.
• Advanced English, able to communicate in business discussions and meetings.
• Openness to flexible shifts to cover global or regional responsibilities (Americas / EMEA / Asia).

Required skills

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Compliance awareness and knowledge of financial controls.
• Collaboration and continuous improvement mindset.
