Abogado(a) Corporativo Senior – LATAM Tecnología ( bilingüe)

About the role

The Senior Corporate Lawyer will act as counsel for assigned business units across LATAM technology operations. Working under senior lawyers, you will provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, privacy, IP, and employment matters while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise management and business partners on corporate and commercial issues, including contracts, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and other functions to ensure legal compliance of product offerings and business deals.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, especially privacy and data protection laws, and update internal policies accordingly.
• Support privacy compliance by reviewing data practices, drafting notices, and advising on cross‑border data transfers.
• Participate in IP matters: conduct patent and trademark searches, assist in IP strategy, and support IP disputes and litigation.
• Assist HR teams on employment law issues, including recruitment, employee relations, equal opportunity compliance, and contingent‑worker matters.
• Prepare public filings, manage entity maintenance, and support governance functions.
• Coordinate with external counsel for disputes, investigations, subpoenas, and litigation matters.

Required profile

• Law degree with a focus on corporate, commercial, privacy, or intellectual‑property law.
• Several years of experience providing legal counsel in a technology or multinational environment.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and senior business leaders.
