- Handle cross-border requirements: declarations of change and Banco de la República registration for flows with the US parent, intercompany support and transfer pricing documentation
- Coordinate the revisor fiscal and external tax advisors, and Cámara de Comercio renewals
- Support US entities: monthly close, fixed assets, debt and note schedules, capital expenditures, recurring accruals, intercompany balances and close entries in QuickBooks
- Own the accounts receivable cycle: invoicing, cash application, collections follow-up, aging review and AR at close
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, prepare ad hoc schedules and analysis for the Accounting Supervisor and Head of Finance, and help improve accounting processes
Required profile
- Public accountant degree from a Colombian university recognized by the Ministry of Education, plus an active Colombian CPA license (Tarjeta Profesional - JCC) and a clean disciplinary record
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; 4+ years of accounting experience after the license, including full DIAN calendar and payroll preparation
- Multi-entity experience closing more than one set of books in the same month, and hands-on AR ownership
- Experience in small to mid-sized companies or in a Colombian subsidiary of a multinational, with strong attention to detail and clear communication
- Fluency in English (C1 or above); the interview is partly in English and daily writing in English is expected
Required skills
- Accounting software: QuickBooks, Siigo, World Office, Helisa, Bill.com (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including building reconciliations
- Preferred: QuickBooks Online across multiple files, Bill.com, intercompany and transfer pricing experience, and a background mentoring a junior team member
