Accountant – English proficiency

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join Marsh's finance team in Bogota. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and involves managing a portfolio of captive insurance and other clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including supplemental information for clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with international clients, ensuring compliance with their specific regulations.
• Reconcile cash and investment accounts, handle bank deposits and cash disbursements.
• Plan and execute annual audits, prepare regulatory filings and GAAP financial statements.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for local accounting and financial reporting.

Required profile

• CPA designation or enrollment preferred, or at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to communicate at all levels.
