Accountant – Growth Financing Marketplace

About the role

We are a fast‑growing financing marketplace that connects small businesses with growth capital and provides top‑tier financial management services. We are looking for five motivated accountants to join our team and help ensure accurate, compliant financial operations that support our mission of empowering entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general‑ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in line with US GAAP.
• Perform regular bank, credit‑card and ledger reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance, audits and filing activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably from a Big‑Four environment.
• Advanced English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting practices.
