Accountant – Hospitality Clients

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month‑end close activities for a portfolio of hospitality clients. You will work in a fast‑paced, multi‑client environment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting tasks, prepare journal entries, and support month‑end close to meet client deadlines.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity by cleaning up and resolving reconciling items.
• Master specialized hospitality platforms, ERP tools, and reporting structures for independent execution.
• Follow standardized processes to deliver consistent, accurate, and responsive client service.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience in hospitality, property management, or outsourced accounting services is highly preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Familiarity with hotel operations, revenue cycles, and hospitality systems (e.g., Opera, POS platforms) is a distinct advantage.
