Accounting Manager

About the role

Avanto is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its accounting team and ensure smooth daily operations. The role focuses on accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of financial processes using NetSuite, AI, and automation while maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial close process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and global regulations.
• Maintain accurate consolidated financial statements, general ledger, revenue, AP/AR, payroll, and expense reporting.
• Manage audits, tax filings, and overall compliance.
• Configure and enhance NetSuite, build dashboards, and integrate reporting tools.
• Leverage AI and automation to accelerate close cycles and forecasting.
• Deliver timely consolidated reports, analyze margins, and support leadership with financial insights.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team while partnering cross‑functionally as a strategic finance partner.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi‑entity consolidation.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and automation.
• Experience in growth‑stage or private‑equity‑backed environments (preferred).
