Accounting Manager (Record to Report)

About the role

An experienced Accounting Manager is sought to oversee key accounting and Record to Report (R2R) activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls and compliance with global accounting standards. The role works closely with local and global Finance teams, supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement. The position is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations and other accounting adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policies, IFRS/US GAAP, statutory requirements and internal controls.
• Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit activities and SOX controls.
• Partner with local and global Finance teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure consistent processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, automation and greater efficiency.
• Support and develop the local accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Experience in multinational or complex financial environments; exposure to SOX and Big 4/Top 10 firms is desirable.
• Business English at B2-C1 level.
