Senior Accountant (Record to Report)

About the role

An experienced Senior Accountant is sought to support key accounting and Record to Report (R2R) activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls and compliance with global accounting standards. The role partners with local and global Finance teams and contributes to process standardization and continuous improvement. The position is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities across assigned accounts and trial balances.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, adjustments and complex balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policies, IFRS/US GAAP, statutory requirements and internal controls.
• Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, external audits and SOX-related activities.
• Manage and resolve accounting issues, including intercompany and outstanding reconciliation items.
• Collaborate with FP&A, regional Finance teams and operational stakeholders across markets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, automation and ERP optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
• 3-5+ years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, audit or shared services.
• Experience with multinational entities, multicurrency accounting or complex group structures.
• Exposure to SOX environments is desirable; Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Business English at B2-C1 level.
