Accounting Quality Specialist

About the role

Amrize is seeking an Accounting Quality Specialist to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in line with US GAAP standards. You will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement across accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger to guarantee reliable reporting.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and support remediation plans.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
• Prepare and validate accounting entries in the financial system on time.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procedures and documentation reflecting regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes or accounting quality roles.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and solid understanding of accounting controls.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
