Accounting Supervisor

About the role

As an Accounting Supervisor you will oversee daily accounting operations, manage a team of accountants and ensure accurate, timely financial services for clients. You will report to the Accounting Manager and act as the main client contact for accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely month‑end and year‑end close.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, invoices and financial statements, maintaining proper documentation and approvals.
• Lead and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance, performance feedback and training while managing workload and attrition.
• Maintain client relationships, address inquiries, present financial reports, budgets and forecasts, and ensure service level agreements and NPS targets are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 6+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in an outsourcing or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, tax regulations and relevant laws.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle.
