Accounting & Tax Assistant

About the role

TMF Group, a global provider of administrative services for businesses, is hiring an Accounting & Tax Assistant. The role covers routine accounting tasks such as bank and supplier reconciliations, invoice processing and the maintenance of client records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
• Prepare sales invoices according to the client's requirements and validate their electronic transmission.
• Perform periodic reconciliations (at least once a month) between Prime-DIAN-DX for supplier invoices.
• Generate supporting documents at the end of each workweek and ensure their correct transmission.
• File, keep organized and update the digital archive of the assigned clients.
• Identify new suppliers and clients and refer them to the Accounting Senior Assistant.
• Run depreciation, amortization, foreign exchange differences and accounting estimates during each period.
• Record, control and update balance sheet accounts and generate the required reports according to the clients' deliverables schedule.

Required profile

• Professional in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in accounting.
• Experience in BPO/SSC or centralized delivery models is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accurate reconciliation of reports and accounts.
