AI Business Operations Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

Clara, a Latin American payments platform, is hiring an AI Business Operations Analyst for its Clara Ops team in Bogotá on a hybrid basis. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, automation and execution, partnering with Product, Sales, Finance and Engineering to find work that machines can do better and build the systems that make it happen. It reports to the Global Head of Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Map high-friction operational workflows and prioritize them for AI-augmentation and automation, building a compounding roadmap.
• Design, deploy and iterate on AI-powered workflows using tools such as Claude Code/Codex, n8n and other LLM APIs to replace manual, repetitive or error-prone processes.
• Work with commercial and operational leaders to identify where agent-based or rule-based automation improves speed, accuracy or capacity without adding headcount.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards in Metabase to surface key KPIs and flag anomalies early.
• Partner with Product and Product Marketing on process changes tied to new feature launches, ensuring operational readiness.
• Serve as the internal expert on AI tooling for operations, evaluate new tools and build an internal playbook.
• Identify data gaps and work with Engineering to create instrumentation or pipelines for better operational decisions.
• Document processes clearly so they can be maintained and handed off.

Required profile

• Experience at a top consulting firm (Bain/BCG/McKinsey) or similar professional services firm and/or high-velocity startup.
• 3-7 years of experience in operations, strategy or a related field, ideally in a LatAm fintech, payments or high-growth B2B SaaS company.
• Proven track record of automating and augmenting operations with AI, with concrete examples of what has been shipped.
• Fluent in English; basic Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience building automated workflows with n8n, Make, Zapier or similar; no-code and low-code fluency is a must.
• Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot, Attio, Salesforce), support triage (Zendesk), data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake) and BI tools.
• Ability to work directly with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) to build operational tools and agents.
• Analytical skills: querying data in SQL and using BI tools such as Metabase.
