About the role
Sezzle is looking for a talented AI Engineer II to join its Applied AI team. In this remote position you will own the design, development and delivery of AI‑powered platforms that enhance both customer‑facing products and internal tools.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of AI‑driven internal platforms and systems.
- Build AI‑powered features, intelligent automation and orchestration workflows.
- Integrate proprietary AI solutions into customer‑facing products, internal tools and operational processes.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and operations teams to identify high‑impact AI opportunities.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with high IQ and high EQ.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
- Experience delivering complex, full‑stack projects from concept to production.
Required skills
- Experience with AI/ML concepts and building AI‑enabled systems.
- Full‑stack development experience (backend services, APIs, data layers, frontend interfaces).
