Airport Commissary Assistant

About the role

Join a leading aviation catering provider operating across the Caribbean and Latin America. As an Airport Commissary Assistant you will support food safety, inventory, and equipment management for multiple airlines, ensuring smooth operations on the ramp and in production areas.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce the physical security of company assets.
• Prepare equipment reports for each airline and provide required tools to production areas.
• Compile and deliver the list of items needed for each flight based on airline orders.
• Manage rotation of perishable products in compliance with HACCP and BPM standards.
• Handle Kamban deliveries and report any situations that could affect food safety, health, safety, or the environment.
• Report airline inventory levels according to each airline’s schedule.
• Unload airline shipments, record them in airline systems, and store them appropriately.
• Assemble beverage stations and support washing and ramp areas when requested.
• Conduct inventory counts and assemble cutlery sets according to airline specifications.

Required profile

• Motivation to work in a diverse, multicultural environment.
• Attention to detail and discipline in following safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with airline partners and internal teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
• Familiarity with BPM (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Understanding of Kanban inventory management.
