About the role

Capgemini is seeking a senior Cybersecurity Analyst to protect its LATAM environments. You will lead incident investigations, coordinate response actions, and help improve the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents across LATAM.
• Lead investigation and resolution of critical security incidents.
• Coordinate response activities with internal teams, vendors and external stakeholders.
• Improve detection, response and threat‑mitigation processes.
• Develop and maintain CSIRT procedures, playbooks and operational documentation.
• Perform digital forensic investigations and malware analysis when required.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement best practices.
• Prepare technical and executive reports on incidents, risks and trends.
• Support cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous enhancement of the organization’s security posture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years experience in cybersecurity incident response, security operations or CSIRT environments.
• Strong experience identifying, investigating and mitigating incidents in enterprise settings.
• Ability to coordinate response activities across multiple regions.
• Advanced intermediate English with ability to lead meetings with international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Incident detection, investigation, containment, eradication and recovery processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, CTI and DLP solutions.
• Digital forensics and malware analysis.
• Threat hunting and threat intelligence methodologies.
• Network security concepts: TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, traffic analysis.
• Security frameworks and standards: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001.
• Cybersecurity monitoring and incident management tools.
• Security reporting, root‑cause analysis and risk assessment.
• Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
