About the role
IBM Consulting is seeking an Application Developer specialized in Java and web technologies to design, develop, and support enterprise applications. You will work with leading companies to drive hybrid cloud and AI initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Java/JEE stack and web frameworks such as Ruby or Groovy.
- Implement transaction management, manage Java objects, and integrate enterprise systems.
- Apply development methodologies including dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect‑oriented programming, functional programming, test‑driven development, data‑access frameworks, and batch processing.
- Utilize DevOps tools and practices to ensure efficient development and deployment.
Required profile
- Experience with Java/JEE enterprise application development.
- Familiarity with scripting languages Ruby or Groovy for web development.
- Knowledge of transaction management and system integration.
